The service is very thorough in determining the cause of damp. Very clear in terms of explaining it to the client.

This makes it easy for the occupiers to implement the instructions given to solve the problem of damp: condensation in this case.

The basic remedies were to be implemented first and if these did not completely eliminate the condensation, then a very cost effective method was advised: passive vents instead of expensive electrical control units. 

To my experience, advice for such cost effective methods cannot always be taken for granted. 

This, together with the fact that Rob’s whole approach confirms that he has no commercial interests in the findings and ecommendations of his  survey as stated in his website, gives confidence to the client that they are getting a good deal.

The fees payable are very reasonable given the time required for the overall service and the fact that the remedies suggested are very efficient lowering the overall cost to the client. Also the service is generally excellent. This includes the report and answers of queries arising from it.

In conclusion, I can say that Damp & Timber Tech would be my first port of call for any damp problems. Not necessary, I am sure, in this particular instance!
